A writer and painter, Carole Naggar is at work on her next show and a biography of British photographer George Rodger to be published in 2000 by Syracuse University Press. Among her current publications are a chapter in National Geographic: The Milestones (Washington, N.G. Books, Oct. 1999), George Rodger: Witness to Mystery (B. Singer Gallery, Petaluma, California, Dec. 1999), Juifs du Nil, images de l'invisible (Che Vuoi magazine, Paris, Winter 1999) and Eikoh Hosoe: Luna Rossa (Shinchosha pub., Tokyo, Spring 2000).
